So, Jenelle and her estranged husband Courtland Rogers have been separated for a few months now, but they are STILL legally married. Jenelle’s legal last name is still Rogers – but she’s been dating Nathan Griffith ever since the recent separation. According to North Carolina law, Jenelle and Courtland have to be legally separated for ONE YEAR before they can file for a divorce. That hasn’t stopped her love train wreck called relationships from pushing on forward.
“Oh, we are definitely in the future gonna get married! We are definitely going to be together for the rest of our lives.”
Nathan dropped the f-bomb on that one in an interview last week (’F’ meaning Forever). Apparently, the couple’s plans are to be married in the next year and have a house in the Wilmington area. They also plan to have CUSTODY of Jace by then.
“I love that little boy to death. He is a sweetheart. He’s actually grown an attachment to me.”
Honestly, Nathan is the only steady, stable relationship Jenelle has had since having Jace. She’s also had a lot more to do with Jace since dating Nathan, but drunk driving and DUI’s are not how you get custody of your child. Especially when you post videos of the irresponsible behavior ONLINE for EVERYONE to see. Jenelle and Nathan still have a lot of growing up to before custody of Jace should be discussed. But I will say that Jenelle seems to be taking the right steps forward and being a good ‘mom’. Until they wreckless and irresponsible behavior can be tamed, I don’t think Jace should be with them full time though.
